"Distance won't stop us from coming together to share some love"
Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra Community:
The continued spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become a global health crisis of which all of us must personally be cognizant in order to help halt this threat. Our national and state health officials have issued directives of procedures to be followed for our combined safety.
The Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra's Board of Directors and Music Director are taking our responsibilities seriously, and with sadness but with a sense of purpose, we are suspending all activities relating to our May 9 concert. We anticipate rescheduling at our earliest convenience.
The health and well -being of our musicians and audience members is paramount in our decision. We will continue to monitor the situation and will be in touch when we can better assess the situation. Be safe!
